Take a Bite out of Car Insurance Premiums

Large numbers of people drive illegally, in violation of liability insurance laws. These people drive without procuring liability insurance coverage for their vehicles because of the excessive costs involved, including a large down payment, as they face the task of paying the annual insurance premiums. This is especially true if they have a previous history of being involved in accidents or having being ticketed for moving violations. It is true that in those circumstances, the premium gets increased considerably to cover the added risk to the insurance company, sometimes at least 50% or more. Therefore, to put some control of this problem back into motorist’s hands, monthly no deposit car insurance policies were created.

There is stiff competition in the market among insurance providers, and many offer car insurance policies requiring no down payment or extremely low deposits, enabling drivers to have the ability to drive without fear of getting into trouble with the legal system or having an accident without insurance. Consumers now have the option of paying the monthly premiums for their auto insurance without any lump sum amount, and no penalty charges for not paying in full for the entire year’s coverage. Of course, maintaining a good driving record over time will lower your premium costs, as will driving a “sensible” car. Sensible to the insurance companies typically means a four door sedan, without a big engine.

The no deposit car insurance policy was designed very flexibly and the premium is likely to be due and payable at the beginning of every month. This can have a distinct advantage as plenty of first term vehicle owners such as students and younger drivers who are new to the roads, might lack the needed funds to pay a large amount after purchasing their vehicles. Insurance rates for the youngest drivers are often as much as three times the premium as the average amount, so many of them opt to cover their vehicles with an agency offering no deposit car insurance and immediate coverage. Prior to these new programs offered by insurance companies, lots of new drivers, and even some of their parents, faced a large inconvenience in paying the premiums for their auto insurance annually, or even quarterly.

Monthly payments break the costs down into manageable bites. In fact, with no deposit car insurance policies available, it has become easier to afford the premium with a part time job or lower income that most students have. Monthly car insurance is also a viable option for those drivers who do not drive all the time. A student who is home on break can pay for just the month’s protection, and then drop the insurance when it’s no longer needed. The flexibility of these types of policies enable consumers to pay for just the coverage required and pay the premiums on a flexible schedule.

No deposit car insurance is essential for those drivers who have higher premiums due to inexperience or a problematic driving record, as it affords them the ease of paying on a flexible, monthly schedule, without having a large sum of cash for a down payment.
